Mein Studium der freien Kunst an der Kunstakademie Rhein-Neckar in Mannheim schloss ich 1997 ab, wobei mein Schwerpunkt im Bereich Illustrationen lag.
Schon während des Studiums habe ich mich mit den gängigen Grafikprogrammen gearbeitet und mich seither kontinuierlich weitergebildet.
Als aktiver Musiker (Drummer / Produzent) gestaltete ich zu Beginn meiner Laufbahn als Illustrator und Grafiker Plakate, Flyer und Plattencover meiner eigenen Musikprojekte, sowie von befreundeten Acts.
Freiberuflicher Grafiker und Illustrator (Quereinstieg) bin ich seit 1995. Von Januar  2000 bis Juli 2004 war ich zusätzlich als Grafiker (Junior Creativ Director) bei der Textilfirma “Trideas” (Urban- Clothing / Young Fashion) in einer Festanstellung tätig.
Mein Aufgabenbereich umfasste in erster Linie die Entwicklung und Gestaltung der Geschäftsanzeigen und Drucksachen. Ich war maßgeblich an der Entwicklung und Pflege der Corporate Identity und des Branding der firmeneigenen Union Shopsbeteiligt und leitete das monatliche Erscheinen des Magazins Upfront. Ebenso entwarf ich Textildruckmotive und Logos  für die Bekleidungsmarken Illmatic Designzund Capone Clothing.
Ende 2004 verlegte ich meinem bisherigen Wohn - und Schaffensort von Heidelberg nach Berlin und arbeitete wieder als freier Grafiker und Illustrator.
Zuletzt lag mein Schwerpunkt u.a. in der Eigenschaft als Illustrator und Grafiker (Schematische Illustrationen, Storyboard-Scribbles, Cartoons, Webdesign / Screendesign) im Bereich Medizin/Pharma für Springer Medizin Berlin/Heidelberg, (Urban&Vogel, Ärzte Zeitung Verlag, Steinkopff, Springer Gesundheits- und Pharmazieverlag) sowie bsmo (business solution medicine online).
Weitere Schwerpunkte meines Schaffens liegen im Bereich Logoentwicklung undFirmen-Branding in der Entertainment- und Musik-Branche (Streetlife-International) sowie im Einzelhandel (Shop Branding / CD).

Seit 2013 wieder in Heidelberg und hauptsächlich als freier Mitarbeiter bei "Plankooperativ" (E-Partizitation in urbanen Planungsprozessen) als Grafiker und Illustrator beschäftigt.

Die folgenden Seiten zeigen einen Auszug aus meiner Arbeit. Die Nutzungsrechte der Arbeitsproben liegen bei den Auftraggebern.

In 1997, I graduated from the Kunstakademie (Academy of Fine Arts) Rhein Neckar. The focus of my studies was in the area of illustration. During my free time I started working with the different graphic software programs that were relevant at the time. Since then, I have continuously updated my knowledge on the latest software programs on the market.

Being a musician (drummer / producer), I took my first steps as an illustrator and designer by designing posters, flyers and record covers of my own music projects and several other local bands. I started my career as a freelance illustrator and designer as early as 1995, working for F-Graphics among others.

Between 2000 and 2004, I was employed as Junior Creative Director on a permanent basis at the clothes company Trideas. I developed and designed the company’s advertising and print material. Apart from that, I was the main responsible for the development and the maintenance of the corporate identity and the branding of the company’s Union Shops. I was also in charge of the monthly publication of the magazine Upfront and I designed the textile print motives and logos for the clothes brands Illmatic Designz and Capone Clothing. 

In 2004 I moved to Berlin and continued working as a freelance designer and illustrator, now focusing on the area of pharmaceutics / medicine. My work includes schematic illustrations, storyboard scribbles, cartoons, webdesigns and screendesigns for the publishing house Springer Medizin in Berlin and Heidelberg, and the publisher’s cross media devision bsmo (business solution medicine online). 

I also worked for the Booking Agency for Urban Music "Streetlife-Entertainment", creating Posters, Flyers, Ads and Webbanners for the Artist-Rooster of Streetlife-Entertainment. (2005-2014)

2013 I moved back to Heidelberg, became a Father of 2 Kids and worked as a freelance designer and illustrator on several projects.
